Northern Marine Manning Services: Crane Mechanics and Deck Engineers - DP II Pipe Lay vessel

We are currently seeking suitably qualified Crane Mechanics and Deck Engineers for a new build DP II Pipe Lay vessel.

The self propelled vessel is fitted with a 1200T and is being marketed for worldwide work.

These positions will report directly into the Chief Engineer onboard the vessel.

This is a permanent job with a Six week on/off rotation. The start date for these positions is negotiable.

Job Spec:


Crane Mechanic:
Maintenance of Marine Cranes onboard + Slewing Motors, Tugger winches and power packs

Deck Engineer:
Repair/maintain Deck machinery + Anchor Windlasses + Mooring winches + Tugger winches + Power packs


Status:     Staff
Required Skills/Experience:     Previous offshore Crane Maintenance experience
Desired Skills/Experience:     Some marine engineering experience
Required Qualifications:     HUET (Course can be taken after appointment)
Offshore medical
Desired Qualifications:     Licensed Marine Engineer
STCW 95 Basic Safety training
