2nd Engineer - You will report to the Chief Engineer on all matters relating to the engine room. You will be responsible for training cadets as well as mentoring 3rd and 4th Engineers. You will also be required to be hands-on and quick to solve any problems that arise.
A challenging, hands-on position in a hard-working engine room on board a VLCC.
This role will operate on a rotation of 4 months on / 3 months off.
The salary: £48k +

Required Skills/Experience: The ideal candidate will be in possession of a Class 1 Chief Engineer Unlimited COC issued by the UKMCA. This candidate will also need to be someone who thrives under pressure, can lead a team in tricky situations and has the ambition to push for a promotion to Chief Engineer.
Excellent command (both written and spoken) of the English language is an absolute necessity.
